About the RoleThis position is for a Restaurant Auditor assigned to a client, focused on evaluating food safety practices, hygiene standards, and operational compliance within restaurant environments. The role involves conducting on-site restaurant inspections, assessing food handling and sanitation processes, and delivering detailed evaluation reports.This is an Independent Contractor position, hired through XML International and assigned to client.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct scheduled, on-site visits to assigned restaurants.Evaluate and document critical food safety and operational elements, including:Food handling, preparation, and storage practicesPersonal hygiene and cleanliness of restaurant staffFacility sanitation, equipment cleanliness, and general maintenanceCompliance with local food safety regulations and internal food safety protocolsStaff knowledge and awareness of food safety proceduresAccurately complete detailed audit and inspection reports.Submit evaluations within established timelines.Maintain strict confidentiality and adhere to assignment-specific compliance guidelines.Communicate findings in a clear, objective, and professional manner.Work independently while following detailed inspection procedures and standards.QualificationsStrong observational, analytical, and reporting skills.Excellent attention to detail and ability to remain impartial.Background in hospitality, food service, food safety, or health and safety is a plus.Comfortable working independently with flexible scheduling.Ability to follow detailed procedures, guidelines, and regulatory requirements.Reliable transportation.Access to a smartphone, tablet, or camera for documentation purposes.Willingness to travel locally as required for restaurant inspections.Contract & Employment StructureThis role is offered as an Independent Contractor position through XML International, assigned to a client.Self-Employment Registration is mandatory in your country to:Report income receivedIssue tax documentationFile and pay taxes in accordance with local regulationsContractors must comply with all local tax and legal requirements.CompensationSalary: 52 euros per hour.Payment is made monthly.Additional expenses related to travel, transportation, or meals during inspections are reimbursable separately from the salary, according to project guidelines.Selection ProcessOur team will contact you to schedule an interview with the Hiring Manager.If the process progresses positively, an offer will be extended.Once the offer is accepted, the Onboarding team will reach out to initiate the onboarding process.Workload & HoursThe number of hours and audits may vary significantly depending on several factors such as business demand, seasonality, geographic coverage, and project requirements. There is no fixed or guaranteed number of audits per week or per month.Workload can fluctuate, and during peak periods it may become relatively high. Therefore, availability and flexibility are essential to successfully perform the role. Auditors must be able to accommodate varying schedules and respond to assignment needs as they arise.This role is best suited for professionals who are comfortable with variable workloads and can manage their time independently while meeting project deadlines and quality standards.
