Job Summary: The Foreign Exchange Trader will be responsible for managing and executing trades in the foreign exchange markets. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of forex markets, strong analytical skills, and the ability to make quick decisions under pressure. This role requires a proactive approach to trading strategies and risk management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute trades on behalf of clients or the firm, adhering to market conditions and client specifications.
• Monitor forex markets, economic indicators, and global events to identify trading opportunities and risks.
• Develop and implement trading strategies to achieve profit targets while managing risk.
• Analyze market trends and financial data to make informed trading decisions.
• Maintain accurate records of trading activities and performance metrics.
• Collaborate with research analysts and other team members to enhance trading strategies and market insights.
• Stay updated on regulatory changes and ensure compliance with relevant laws and policies.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field. Advanced degrees or professional certifications (e.g., CFA, CMT) are a plus.
• Proven experience as a Foreign Exchange Trader or in a similar trading role.
• Strong understanding of forex markets, trading platforms, and financial instruments.
• Excellent analytical and quantitative skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
• Proficiency in trading software and tools, such as MetaTrader, Bloomberg Terminal, or equivalent.
• Ability to work under pressure and make quick, informed decisions.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
