This role is looking for a ForeScout SME. Needing someone who knows the in's and out's of ForeScout, how the tool integrates into the environment and within the network. Northern Trust is using Forescout for discovery, quarantine, remediation and enforcement. They are looking to use it to its fullest extent. The tool was originally not set up properly, so needing someone with expertise of setting ForeScout up in an environment.

Qualifications:

Technical experience with infrastructure
Deep understanding of Forescout products and in-depth knowledge of environments in which they are deployed.

Extensive experience with enterprise desktop computing environments, distributed applications, and strong knowledge and understanding of TCP/IP networks.
Advance Systems Administrator's level of knowledge and understanding of all protocol layers and operating systems: Linux, Windows, and Mac OS (Operating Systems).

Contractor's Role: The Forescout Engineer is a key technical resource in support of an on-going project, Fortify, providing expert guidance on the Forescout platform, from design and implementation, through to operational support.

Advanced knowledge in virtualization is strongly desired.
Tasks & responsibilities:
Provides direct support in relation to Forescout deployments in NT environment
Makes collaborative effort within the team to resolve complex issues
Participates in knowledge transfer of Forescout design, implementation, and operations with various stakeholder groups
Creates and reviews project documentation deliverables
Provides a prominent level of knowledge of Forescout product capabilities and can speak to reference architectures.
Capable of handling vendor escalations when necessary
Capable of independently solving issues at the configuration level
