Parallel Employment is seeking dedicated Forklift Operators to join our Fort Atkinson manufactuirng client.

This position supports production and operations by safely and efficiently transporting parts and finished goods as required. It requires the use of various forklifts and other material handling equipment to move, distribute and store materials throughout the facility. Completion of tasks in various warehouse locations may be required.

Responsibilities

•Check incoming deliveries to make sure all material meets quality standards and quantities match pack lists

•Load outgoing trucks ensuring proper product is being loaded per the packing list

•Organize raw material efficiently to optimize space

• Review production schedule and set-up materials according to the schedule

• Change materials as required with direction from the Warehouse Manager and Shift Supervisor

•Verify counts on finished pallets and wrap product prior to staging on the shipping dock

•Perform cycle counts when needed to avoid inventory discrepancies or per customer requests

•Provide materials to the production lines as called upon so production can continue, unimpeded

Requirements

• Previous experience as a forklift operator is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and safety awareness.
• Ability to lift heavy items and perform physical tasks.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Flexibility to work various shifts as needed.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs consistently
• Basic computer skills
