Forklift Operators / Shipping & Receiving

Locations: Openings in McAllen, Pharr, and Mission, TX

Pay Range: $12.00 – $13.00+ per hour depending on shift and experience

Position Overview

Express Employment Professionals is assisting several warehouse and logistics employers in the McAllen, Pharr, and Mission, TX area seeking experienced Sit-Down Forklift Operators / Warehouse Associates. This role involves operating a sit-down forklift to move pallets, load and unload trailers, and support shipping and receiving operations within a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate a sit-down forklift to move pallets, materials, and finished goods throughout the warehouse
• Load and unload trucks and trailers safely and efficiently
• Support shipping and receiving operations including verifying incoming and outgoing shipments
• Use RF scanners and warehouse systems to update and track inventory
• Pick, pack, and stage materials for shipping or production orders
• Maintain organized pallet storage and follow inventory practices
• Inspect materials for damage and report shortages or discrepancies
• Assist with inventory counts, audits, and warehouse organization
• Follow all warehouse safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment
• Support additional warehouse, logistics, and material handling tasks as needed

Qualifications

• Previous recent forklift operating experience required
• Experience in warehouse, logistics, shipping and receiving, or distribution environments
• Familiarity with RF scanners, inventory systems, or warehouse software
• Ability to lift, move, and organize materials safely
• Basic computer and documentation skills
• Reliable attendance and ability to work assigned shifts
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow safety guidelines
