NOW HIRING: Forklift Operators in Whippany & East Hanover, NJ
Position: Forklift Operator
Pay Rate: $18.00/hr
Shifts Available:
Pay Rate: $18.00/hr
Shifts Available:
- 1st Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:15 PM
- 2nd Shift: 3:00 PM – 11:15 PM
- 3rd Shift: 11:00 PM – 7:15 AM
Key Responsibilities (GMP Environment)
- Safely operate forklifts to move, load, and unload materials and products.
- Transport materials throughout warehouse and production areas.
- Stack and organize pallets in designated storage areas, ensuring stability and accuracy.
- Follow warehouse layout and storage protocols to maintain proper inventory flow.
- Conduct pre- and post-shift equipment inspections (battery, forks, tires, safety features).
- Immediately report any product, pallet, racking, or equipment damage.
- Assist with inventory control: counting, labeling, and verifying stock.
- Load and unload trucks in accordance with safety procedures.
- Use scanners or WMS systems to track product movement.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area while following GMP and warehouse safety guidelines.
- Support general warehouse tasks (picking, packing, organizing) when not operating the forklift.
Requirements
- Some clients may require a background check and drug screening.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, GMP-regulated environment.
- Must be comfortable working in moderate to high noise levels.
