Requirement: Must live near Talladega, AL or be willing to relocate
Pay: $18.01
We have housing and transportation if you need to relocate. We provide a full-year contract. Relocation assistance.
Position Overview
We are seeking reliable Forklift Operators to join our team in Talladega, AL. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating forklifts and other material handling equipment to move, load, and unload materials within the production facility. This position supports production efficiency by ensuring materials are transported correctly and on time, while following all safety and quality standards.
This is a full-time role ideal for individuals with warehouse, logistics, or industrial experience who want stable employment with growth opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
Operations
  • Safely operate forklifts and material handling equipment.
  • Load, unload, and transport raw materials, finished products, and supplies throughout the facility.
  • Supply production lines with required materials on schedule.
  • Stack, store, and organize products in designated areas.
  • Assist with general warehouse duties as needed.
Maintenance & Safety
  • Perform daily equipment inspections and report any issues.
  • Follow all safety procedures and maintain awareness of surroundings.
  • Ensure loads are secured and handled properly to avoid damage or accidents.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Clerical & Reporting
  • Complete required shipping, receiving, and inventory documentation.
  • Record material movement and product quantities accurately.
Other
  • Work with team members and supervisors to support production needs.
  • Assist in continuous improvement initiatives for warehouse operations.
  • Carry out additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Experience: Preferred 1–2 years operating forklifts or material handling equipment (not required if willing to be trained).
  • Education: High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Skills:
    • Forklift certification preferred (training may be provided).
    • Ability to operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and related equipment.
    • Strong attention to safety and detail.
    • Basic math and inventory tracking skills.
    • Good communication and teamwork abilities.
    • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted.
  • IT Skills: Basic computer/data entry skills helpful.
