Job Description Job Description Ignite Industrial is seeking a certified Forklift Trainer/PIT Trainer for a company located in Lockbourne, OH! The Forklift Trainer/PIT Trainer will be a 1st shift position working from 8am to 4:30pm. It will be offering $24/hr. Responsibilities: Runs training programs by helping new employees get started, showing them the facility, and ensuring all new associates are aware of their job duties Instructing operators on safe driving practices, load handling, stability, refueling/recharging, and maintenance. Conducting in-person, hands‑on evaluations to test operator competence, identifying, and correcting errors, and determining if they are qualified to operate equipment. Certifying operators upon successful completion of training and conducting refresher training as required by Qualifications: A qualified trainer must have extensive knowledge, experience, and training in forklift operations.
