Position Overview Process Consultant Engineer Lead – plays a critical role in bridging executive-level strategy with operational execution, optimizing revenue cycle processes, and leading solution deployments. Responsibilities Provide use case business case quantification by identifying the customer's business objectives and quantifying the benefits and ROI of use case implementation. Design and optimize consulting delivery processes in coordination with internal teams to ensure seamless and consistent execution of use cases in support of customer objectives. Lead and mentor Solution Consultants while ensuring alignment of team efforts with client goals and operating metrics. Collaborate with Solution Consultants to create product roadmaps, future state process flows, and implementation plans. Support the development of training and change management plans to drive the adoption of best practices. Provide technical product and operational leadership throughout the solution lifecycle. Evaluate emerging operational and technical opportunities, assess, and recommend future use case business cases. Proactively engage with customers and support decision making with data‑driven insights. Ensure proactive issue resolution and continuous improvement in service delivery. Support Solution Consultants with the development of sustainable mechanisms to monitor KPIs and SLAs that provide measurable value creation and performance tracking for steady state operations. Travel up to 50% to engage with clients and stakeholders. Qualifications Minimum 10 years of experience in healthcare revenue cycle management, including HB and PB Follow‑Up, Denials, and Coding. Minimum 5 years in a management role. Significant experience in project management, process improvement, and implementation support. Adept with AI tools and enthusiastic about the conversion of technology and operations. Familiarity with healthcare operations or enterprise software environments preferred. Excellent communication, problem‑solving, and analytical skills. Strong knowledge of ICD‑10‑CM/PCS & CPT/HCPCS coding guidelines and reimbursement methodologies. AAPC or AHIMA Certified coding professional: CIC, CPC, CCS, RHIA, RHIT preferred. Base pay range: $175,000.00 – $306,101.78 per year, determined by role, level, location, job‑related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. This position is eligible to participate in our annual bonus plan at a target of 25.00%. Travel up to 50% to engage with clients and stakeholders. R1 RCM Inc.
