Front Desk Associate Join the heartbeat of the CREC! Haverford Township is looking for a friendly, upbeat Front Desk Associate to welcome visitors, keep our busy Community Recreation & Environmental Center running smoothly, and deliver top-tier customer service. If you love helping people, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and bring positive energy to every interaction, this role puts you right at the center of the actiongreeting guests, answering questions, handling registrations, and supporting our recreation team. It's the perfect fit for someone who's organized, personable, and ready to be the smiling face of the CREC. Qualifications: Warm and friendly demeanor with co-workers, CREC patrons, and visitors Work well with others, as well as work independently Excellent communication skills Ability to deal with a varied customer base and a wide age range Ability to problem-solve and multi-task Computer literate Proficient in MS Office, ability to learn Recreation and POS Software HS diploma or equivalent Essential Functions: Greet guests and visitors to the facility Register participants for membership packages, classes, programs, and activities Answer and route phone calls to staff Address and answer questions regarding the facility, programs, activities, and rentals Bring questions and concerns to the attention of the Operations Supervisor or Manager on Duty Other duties as assigned. Physical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit, talk, listen, read, write and type. The employee is occasionally required to walk; climb stairs; use hands to operate, finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; and reach with hands and arms. Work Environment: The Community Recreation and Environmental Center is a busy location that handles over 100 visitors daily for Fitness programs, pickle ball, walking track, youth programs, and rentals. The work is performed in a fast pace, high energy environment. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
