Position Title: Front Desk Associate

Location: New York City offsite space (142 W. 36th St, NY, NY 10018)

Job Summary:

As a Front Desk Associate, you play a pivotal role as the initial point of contact for our organization. Your primary responsibility is to deliver outstanding customer service to our clients and visitors. Your friendly and approachable manner, combined with your effective management of administrative duties, is instrumental in ensuring a seamless and positive experience for all individuals entering our premises. This position holds significant importance in shaping a favorable and enduring impression of our company.

The position requires 3-4 days a week in person in our NYC office, Monday to Friday, with scheduling shifts varying between 8 am - 2 pm, 8:30 am - 2:30 pm, and 8:30 am - 5:30 pm. This role emphasizes the importance of excellent verbal and written communication skills.

This is a part-time, non-exempt position making $18 per hour.

Note: The client project is anticipated to start ASAP with our goal of having this person in the seat, and trained, ASAP.  The project is currently scheduled to last three months with possible extensions.

Responsibilities:

·        Attend to clients on-site and provide a high-quality hospitality experience.

·        Greet participants and clients, maintaining a friendly yet professional rapport.

·        Review project materials and documents for accuracy and completeness.

·        Check in and verification of participants.

·        Reminder and confirmation calls.

·        Assist in maintaining a clean and organized office.

·        Perform other administrative, reception, and hospitality duties as required.

Qualifications and Experience:

·        Previous experience in Hospitality, Hosting, Hotel or Wait Staff, Market Research, or related fields is preferred.

·        Computer literacy is a must.

·        Administrative or host experience is highly valued.

·        Organization and excellent communication skills, both in person and on the telephone, are essential.
