Overview:
A Green Alternative is seeking a friendly and organized Receptionist to join our team. As a receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for customers in the retail space and on the phone, as well as a liaison between customers and management teams. They understand that because they are the first faces to greet customers, they must be enthusiastic, personable, and welcoming.
Job Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Welcome and greet clients and visitors to A Green Alternative Dispensary in a warm and professional manner
- Answer and direct incoming phone calls to the appropriate staff members
- Provide accurate information to clients and be able to explain the dispensary's procedures and policies to customers to ensure smooth processing
- Manage the flow of the lobby and customer queue to ensure all customers are helped in a timely manner
- Assist in maintaining the waiting area, ensuring it is clean, organized, and stocked with informational materials
- Manage client registration and documentation, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements
- Provide administrative support to the dispensary team, including data entry, filing, and record-keeping
- Follow all dispensary policies and procedures to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations
- Adhere to all company training and operational standards and procedures (education, merchandising, cleanliness, security, checklists etc.)
- Maintain confidentiality of client information and adhere to privacy guidelines
- Check customer identification for age verification and scan customer’s ID into Point-of-Sale system
- Make sure Customers are adhering to social distancing guidelines
- Periodically sanitized commonly touched surfaces (door handles, ATM keypad, etc.)
- Converse with customers in the waiting room when applicable
Qualifications/Skills:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience as a receptionist or in a customer service role
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Friendly and welcoming demeanor, with the ability to create a positive first impression for clients
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Proficient computer skills, including knowledge of MS Office and familiarity with Point-of-Sale systems
- Willingness to learn is essential
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities
- Professional appearance and behavior
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required
- Must be over 21 years old
