As the Front Desk Receptionist, youll be the welcoming face and first point of contact for our patients. Youll manage daily front office operations, ensure a smooth patient flow, and support our clinical team with administrative excellence. Responsibilities
- Greet and check in patients with professionalism and empathy
- Answer and direct incoming calls, schedule appointments, and manage the clinic calendar
- Verify and update patient information, insurance, and records in our EMR/EHR system
- Collect and process payments, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality
- Support patients with general inquiries and assist with follow-up scheduling
- Maintain HIPAA compliance and always protect patient privacy
- Collaborate with clinical and administrative staff to ensure a seamless patient experience
- Handle incoming mail, faxes, and other administrative duties as needed
Requirements
- Prior experience in a medical office, front desk, or administrative role (required)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills professional, warm, and patient-focused
- Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems and HIPAA regulations
- Proficient in multitasking and time management in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Knowledge of basic medical terminology preferred
