About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated Front Desk Receptionist to join our Florham Park, NJ office admin. team. The incumbent will be the first one who visitors meet when they enter our office. This person will be expected to make the right first impression, put visitors at ease.


Key Responsibilities

  • Greet visitors with an upbeat, welcoming & positive attitude, help them navigate through the office.
  • Answer, forward, screen phone calls and direct callers to respective leaders and concerned departments.
  • Assist with a variety of administrative tasks including copying, faxing, taking notes, etc.
  • Notify company personnel of visitor arrival.
  • Inform visitors by answering or referring inquiries.
  • Direct visitors by maintaining employee and department directories.
  • Maintain security by following procedures, monitoring logbook, and issuing visitor badges.
  • Keep a safe and clean reception area by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
  • Support continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.
  • Be hands-on with all administrative duties pertaining to the office facility.
  • Other tasks as assigned.


Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Thorough knowledge and experience in Front Desk Receptionist duties in a corporate environment
  • Excellent telephone skills, expert level communication skills.
  • Customer focused, courteous, professional, and ability to handle multiple tasks with ease.
  • Consistent, professional dress, and manner.
  • Expertise with phone systems.
  • Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Strong attention to detail; and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Optimistic, resilient, and flexible.
  • Ability to go beyond when needed.
  • Punctuality, accuracy, dependability, and the ability to meet deadlines.


Additional Information

University/college degree is an asset.
