Front Desk Receptionist/Office assistant

A well-established, multidisciplinary integrative naturopathic/acupuncture clinic seeks an exceptional 3 day (about 24-hour part time medical receptionist/assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate must possess the abilities and skills described below, but just as importantly must possess the personal and professional maturity to be always kind, patient, compassionate and display equanimity in a busy healthcare environment. Our dream front office person is practicing personal and professional wellness -physical, mental and emotional- and is generally a happy, healthy, good humored and gracious person. They would be loyal and dedicated to the bigger cause of saving our environment through diet education and lifestyle habits. In this regard, Dr. Marz (the clinic director), is now doing podcasts and is reaching out through social media to educate the public about diet, health and the environment. A working knowledge of social media venues would be a plus.

In addition, they would have a good working knowledge of nutrition, especially with regards to vegan or plant-based dietary regimens, fasting and elimination diets. They should also be environmentally conscious and knowledgeable about alternative medicine, Naturopathic and Chinese medicine, and possess an interest in botanical medicine, nutritional supplements, including vitamins, minerals, enzymes, probiotics etc. If this is you, please apply and make sure you send a cover letter with your inquiry.
