Colorado Veterinary Specialists and Animal ER is a 24-hour specialty and emergency center located in Littleton. We are seeking a full-time friendly, efficient and professional Client Service Representative to join our team.

Job Description: The Client Service Representative (CSR) is frequently the first person a client encounters when contacting the clinic and as such is tremendously valuable to the practice. The CSR provides world-class customer service which serves to positively impact our business.

Skills and Qualifications: We recognize that CSRs come from a wide variety of professional backgrounds including the medical and healthcare fields, retail, hospitality, restaurant service, sales, management, administrative assisting, and call centers. Client service representatives in all fields strive to provide outstanding customer service. The successful CSR candidate will share

  • Compassion for both pets and people.
  • Demonstrated excellence in customer service, communication and listening skills.
  • Ability to accurately manage financial transactions.
  • Ability to multitask and remain organized.
  • The willingness and ability to work with veterinary software (EzyVet) and Microsoft Office.
  • Willingness to work non-traditional hours- including evenings, weekends and holidays.
  • The ability to lift up to 40 lbs. and be exposed to occupational hazards such as cat and dog allergies, noises, odors, and animal waste.

Duties and Responsibilities: The CSR plays a key role in the hospital's success, as his/her immediate interaction with clients impacts revenue, repeat visits and overall satisfaction. While this position does not have any clinical duties, the CSR will work hand-in-hand with Veterinarians and Veterinary Technicians. The CSR is the pivot around which the hospital operates and is responsible for:

  • Customer service functions, including: greeting visitors, answering telephone calls, and guiding clients and their pets to exam rooms.
  • Scheduling and confirming appointments.
  • Presenting and explaining fees, including processing of payments.
  • Managing medical records, reports and correspondence.
  • Hospital maintenance (including removal of animal waste) in exam rooms and lobby area.

Candidates must be willing to work a full-time schedule. The schedule for this position is currently Mon., Tues., Wed., from 12pm to 10pm and Saturday from 8am to 6pm. Experience working with animals is preferred and candidates that have experience in the veterinary field is a plus!
