This position blends compassionate front‑line service with hands‑on clinical support—you’ll welcome patients, coordinate appointments, and ensure smooth clinic operations, while also assisting clinicians with patient preparation, gathering key information, and helping families feel informed and comfortable. Job Overview This position adheres to all of the regular responsibilities and duties of a front office specialist and medical assistant. It is cross‑trained to perform duties in both front and back office to enhance efficiency and continuity of delivery of patient care; work cooperatively within the team concept demonstrating flexibility, motivation and commitment to quality patient care. Location North – TriHealth Evendale Medical Office Building, 3147 Glendale Milford Rd, Cinti 45241 West – TriHealth Physician Partners, 6331 Glenway Avenue, Cinti 45211 Work Schedule Full‑Time (80 hours bi‑weekly) No Holidays! This position is also eligible for up to a $1,000 Sign On Bonus. Job Requirements High School Degree Registration Check in triage Vitals Charge entry EKG Filing and Medical Records 1–2 years experience in a related field Job Responsibilities Accurately document all care rendered to a patient and all actions taken on behalf of a patient in the patient’s medical record. Support QI processes and be knowledgeable about the QI process and its application per quarter per disease. Analyze Fast Claim Report daily, make corrections, and proactively coordinate information to the billing company. Schedule patient for next visit at time of checkout, while maintaining front office professional appearance. Follow JCAHO, HIPAA protocols. Appropriately triage patient calls and ensure proper disposition of calls to meet patient needs. Notify physician with emergency complaints and demonstrate competency in clinical care protocols including 911 and HIPAA. Access to patient information limited to what is necessary to perform the job. Demonstrate proficiency in front office procedures: collect co‑pays, answer phone prior to voicemail, record payment and provide receipts, correctly register patient demographics, validate demographics per visit. Notify patient of balance and offer payment plan process. Copy insurance cards. Assist with medical procedures on adults and children, maintain annual competencies, record vital signs, weight, height, head circumference per visit. Maintain patient’s right to privacy, dignity and respect in both the performance of medical procedures and appropriate use of the medical record. Handle patient complaints and refer to manager as appropriate.
