Job Description

FSQA Director | Livingston, CA

On-Site | Relocation Assistance Available

Ready to lead, influence, and make a visible impact?

This is more than a compliance role—it’s an opportunity to own food safety, shape culture, and partner directly with operations to drive real results in a high-volume manufacturing environment.

We’re looking for an FSQA leader who wants a seat at the table, thrives in a fast-paced plant, and takes pride in building strong teams and systems that stick.

What You’ll Own

Food Safety Leadership

  • Lead and elevate all food safety systems (HACCP, SSOPs)
  • Ensure USDA/FSIS and GFSI compliance with confidence
  • Act as the go-to leader for FSIS relationships and audit success

Operational Influence

  • Work side-by-side with Production, Sanitation, and Maintenance
  • Solve issues in real time and drive accountability across the floor

Team & Culture

  • Build, coach, and develop a high-performing FSQA team
  • Create a culture where food safety is owned at every level

Continuous Improvement

  • Turn data into action, identify trends, solve root causes, and implement lasting solutions

Customer Confidence

  • Lead investigations, product disposition, and corrective actions
  • Ensure consistent delivery of safe, high-quality products

What You Bring

  • 5+ years of FSQA leadership in food manufacturing
  • Strong expertise in HACCP, SSOPs, and USDA/FSIS
  • A leadership style that drives accountability and collaboration
  • Sharp problem-solving skills and sound decision-making
  • Ability to influence cross-functional teams in a plant environment
  • Bachelor’s degree (Food Science or related) preferred
  • Bilingual English/Spanish a plus
  • Flexibility to support operations as needed

Why This Opportunity

  • High visibility + real influence across plant operations
  • Autonomy to lead and improve systems—not just maintain them
  • Relocation support to make the transition seamless

If you’re looking for a role where your leadership directly impacts product quality, team performance, and customer trust, this is it.
