As a Fuel Supply Analyst, you'll be responsible for analyzing store level fuel supply data, margin and transportation data in order to minimize total laid in cost. You'll identify strategic opportunities to enhance net contribution through optimal supply and transportation mix. In addition, you'll monitor supply and transportation trends at a micro and macro level to support leadership in refining fuel supply strategies. What You'll Do: Review market level data to determine appropriate fuel procurement and delivery tactics. Work with supply partners and department leadership to identify and execute short term supply agreements. Assist peers and department leadership in developing effective fuel supply and transportation strategies. Evaluate financial impact of strategies and suggest changes as needed based on a multitude of factors including market conditions, company targets, supply availability changes, transportation cost, etc. Communicate findings and influence decisions accordingly. Review gasoline, diesel, and specialty fuel supply price data and execute appropriate supply changes once approved from leadership. Execute process improvement efforts and implement best-in-class process improvement as guided by peers and leadership. Align supply availability with the volume budget and forecast. Partner with Retail Fuel Team to identify opportunities to enhance pricing tactics and offset uncontrollable factors eroding volume or margin. What You'll Bring: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Data Analytics, or related Business field preferred or equivalent work experience in a directly related role required. Sound decision-making, prioritization and critical thinking skills that can be tested in a fast‑paced environment. Knowledge of third‑party fuel supply chain tools, along with current knowledge of federal, state and local laws and regulations related to supply and transportation. Proven ability to work with large amounts of data and recommend solutions based on analysis. Must possess strong analytical skills, the ability to manage multiple activities/projects, and strong detail orientation. Ability to assess performance, make improvements and take appropriate action in real time setting. Compensation: Starting pay range: $63,100 - $82,800. Actual pay may vary based on Casey’s assessment of the candidate’s knowledge, skills, abilities (KSAs), related experience, education, and qualifications. Other factors impacting pay include local prevailing wages and internal equity. This position is eligible for an annual cash bonus based on company performance.
