Cooperidge Consulting Firm is seeking a TS/SCI-Cleared Full-Stack Software Engineer for a leading Intelligence Community (IC) technology partner.

This role requires a highly driven, technically strong engineer with a solid programming foundation, expertise in modern distributed systems, and the ability to learn quickly in a mission-critical environment. The engineer will contribute to the development, deployment, and sustainment of secure applications supporting national-level intelligence operations. Success in this role requires adaptability, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to thrive within a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop, test, and deploy mission-focused software applications used across Intelligence Community operations.
  • Build and maintain Python-based systems, ensuring strong unit testing coverage and adherence to secure development standards.
  • Design and work with web-connected application components, including RESTful interfaces, websockets, and database-driven features.
  • Participate in CI/CD workflows and support containerized deployments leveraging modern DevOps tools and concepts.
  • Contribute to scalable system designs, understanding vertical and horizontal scaling across distributed architectures.
  • Support ETL pipelines, data movement processes, and ingestion frameworks as part of larger analytical toolchains.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams specializing in signal processing, system design, and mission application development.
  • Ensure all work aligns with classified program requirements, security constraints, and TS/SCI standards.
  • Document development work clearly and provide technical updates to leadership and mission stakeholders.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related engineering discipline required.
Experience
  • Minimum 2–5 years of professional software engineering experience.
  • Strong background in Python programming and unit testing.
  • Understanding of CI/CD pipelines, containerization concepts, scaling fundamentals, and distributed systems.
  • Familiarity with Kubernetes, ETL pipelines, SQL databases, RESTful interfaces, and websockets.
Certifications / Clearance
  • Active TS/SCI clearance is required.
  • U.S. Citizenship required.
Nice to Have (Not Required)
  • Experience creating or editing Helm charts.
  • Familiarity with Argo CD, Argo Workflows, or GitLab CI jobs.
  • Exposure to S3/MinIO object storage.
  • Understanding of pub/sub systems such as RabbitMQ or Kafka.
Skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to mission-driven priorities.
  • Excellent communication skills for collaborating with classified program teams.
