This role reports to the Senior Director Web Applications Development within the IT department. The Full Stack Developer III leads the design, development, and deployment of enterprise web applications using Microsoft .NET technologies. The role combines hands-on coding with strategic oversight, mentoring, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions. What you will bring B.S. in Computer Science or related field; Master’s degree or advanced certifications in software engineering or cloud architecture preferred 5+ years of experience architecting, developing, and supporting both front-end, device-reactive and back-end web systems in a mid-size or larger company 5+ years of experience developing high-traffic, high-availability applications using Azure Web App Service or equivalent Cloud environment Advanced experience in SQL optimization, data modeling, and performance tuning in MS SQL Server or Azure SQL; experience with data warehousing preferred Proven track record of leading full SDLC across multiple projects, including stakeholder engagement, risk management, and post-deployment support Deep expertise in designing and integrating RESTful APIs, serverless architectures, and microservices; experience with API gateways and service mesh Microservice-based architecture experience preferred Microsoft certifications for .NET development and Azure cloud development preferred Proficiency in the following languages, frameworks and tools: C#, SQL Server, CSS and CSS pre-processors like SASS, HTML5, JavaScript ES2020 with Preact, React, Node 14.x+/npm/npx Experience with Github and Azure DevOps preferred Experience with automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, and other DevOps best practices Knowledge of security best practices in web development Experience with performance optimization techniques Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with a strong attention to detail Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks and changing priorities Must demonstrate maturity in judgment, commitment, dependability, punctuality and adherence to agreed-upon schedule Ability to achieve results both independently and through others by fostering teamwork and cooperation Demonstrate exceptional communication across all contact channels, including email, chat and phone Available to work a flexible schedule including weekends, early mornings, late evenings An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered for this role Responsibilities Lead full-stack development of complex web applications using Microsoft .NET technologies in cloud and hybrid environments Architect scalable solutions, ensuring alignment with business goals, security standards, and performance benchmarks Mentor and guide onshore and offshore development teams, providing technical leadership and code reviews to ensure quality and consistency Oversee release management, including merging, deploying, and validating releases across development, staging, and production environments Champion automated testing, increasing code coverage and integrating testing into CI/CD pipelines Drive sprint planning and agile ceremonies, collaborating with Product Owners and Scrum Masters to define scope, estimate tasks, and manage delivery timelines Monitor and troubleshoot production systems, proactively identifying and resolving performance bottlenecks and system errors Document technical processes, workflows, and architectural decisions to support knowledge sharing and onboarding Collaborate cross-functionally with infrastructure, security, and business teams to optimize environments and ensure application reliability Continuously evaluate and adopt new technologies, tools, and frameworks to enhance development efficiency and product quality Perform other duties as assigned by senior leadership Works effectively with others in a team environment to accomplish organizational goals and to identify and resolve problems Exhibits and adheres to the established Visual Comfort Company Values Must demonstrate commitment, dependability, punctuality, and adherence to agreed-upon schedule Compensation and Benefits Compensation: $90,000 Work-Life Balance: Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm Training & Development: A comprehensive and structured training program, complemented by ongoing education and opportunities for career advancement Paid Time Off: Generous vacation accrual and paid time off policies Holidays: 7 paid holidays per year, in addition to 2 floating holidays Health Benefits: Visual Comfort pays the majority of employees medical, vision, and dental coverage, available starting the first of the month following your start date Insurance: Company-provided life insurance and short-term disability coverage Retirement: 401(k) plan with company matching up to 4%, available beginning the first of the month following your hire date Qualified applicants are considered for employment, and employees are treated during employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, gender identity, or expression, genetic information, or any other legally protected status.
