Job Description This BAE Systems program supports a federal customer who is the principal fact‑finding agency for the Federal Government in the broad field of labor economics and statistics. The agency is an independent national statistical agency that collects, processes, analyzes, and disseminates essential statistical data to the American public, the U.S. Congress, other Federal agencies, State and local governments, business, and labor. This position supports The Local Area Unemployment Statistics (LAUS) program, a Federal/State cooperative program which produces monthly estimates of total employment and unemployment for approximately 7,500 areas. Qualifications Typical Education and Experience: Typically a Bachelor's Degree and 4 years work experience or equivalent experience Required Skills: A minimum of 6 years overall experience in the design and development of applications Full stack Java developer. Strong backend as well as front end knowledge. Experience using Object Oriented programming and design patterns. Strong knowledge of: Spring framework, Maven or Gradle build tools.
