The System Engineering Analytics Department is seeking a motivated and creative Full Stack Software Engineer with expertise in Python, web application frameworks like React or Angular, backend programming, and cloud architecture. Our team applies cutting-edge tools and techniques to tackle challenging problems for the US government. This position offers an exciting opportunity to merge Data Analytics with web applications to create end-to-end data analytic pipelines. You'll work alongside seasoned data professionals in a dynamic environment, making a significant impact on some of the most challenging government issues.

As a Full Stack Engineer, you will:

  • Be passionate about building end-to-end solutions for real-world problems.
  • Possess innate curiosity and an inclination for solving complex problems with open-ended tasking.
  • Collaborate with a diverse range of government sponsors to understand their challenges, assess potential solutions, and develop actionable applications.
  • Support the development and deployment of applications to address sponsor challenges, with a willingness to adapt and learn.
  • Have a data-centric approach to creating visualizations.
  • Present your solutions in a clear and user-friendly manner that can be understood by all sponsor audiences, regardless of their technical expertise.

Basic Qualifications::

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field and 2+ years applicable experience; or equivalent combination of related education and work experience.
  • Proficiency in full-stack development, including Python, React and/or Angular, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PostgreSQL and/or SQL.
  • U.S. citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD clearance.
  • Experience working with databases and backend technologies.
  • Proficiency in using version control systems like GIT.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in using modern development tools and practices.
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools.
  • Academic or project experience in building web applications.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • An advanced degree in a technical field of study.
  • Preference given to qualified candidates with current/active US Government clearance or suitability.
