About the Opportunity
We are seeking a Full Stack Software Engineer to join a collaborative engineering team developing advanced software solutions for mission-critical Defense and Intelligence Community programs. In this role, you'll contribute to the design, development, and enhancement of scalable applications that leverage modern technologies and mathematical approaches to solve complex real-world challenges.
Whether you're an early-career engineer looking to expand your technical expertise or a seasoned professional seeking impactful work, this opportunity offers exposure to cutting-edge AI-driven technologies, cloud-native architectures, and mission-focused software development. You'll collaborate with talented engineers in an Agile environment while building solutions that directly support national security initiatives.

Basic Qualifications

  • 3 10 years of relevant professional software engineering experience.

  • Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering or a related STEM discipline.

  • Active TS/SCI security clearance with CI Polygraph or willingness to obtain one.

  • Ability to successfully complete a background investigation, including criminal history, credit review, and professional reference verification.

Minimum Requirements:

Must be a US citizen with a current TS/SCI clearance.
Bachelor's degree or higher in Software Engineering or related STEM field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience.
Experiences with any of the following: Java, C++, Python, Vue.js, React, Kafka or similar, Git, ELK, Grafana, Prometheus, Bash, Linux.
Experience developing containerized micro-services.
Experience Developing Front end Web applications.
Experience Developing Backend services that use API's or a message bus to communicate.
Experience with software engineering tools (i.e., Git/Subversion, IDE).
Familiarity with the Agile development process and tools.
Familiarity with Continuous Integration and Continuous Development pipelines (CI-CD Pipelines).
Ability to work in a geographically dispersed, collaborative team environment.

Preferred Qualifications

Candidates with experience in the following areas will stand out:

  • Building software using Agile software development methodologies.

  • Designing and implementing efficient algorithms for complex software systems.

  • Applying software design patterns and object-oriented design principles.

  • Exposure to aerospace engineering, space systems, or mission operations.

  • Experience working on secure government, defense, or intelligence programs.

  • Design, develop, test, and maintain full-stack software applications supporting mission-critical initiatives.

  • Develop scalable backend services and responsive front-end applications.

  • Build and enhance containerized microservices deployed in modern environments.
