Full Stack Software Developer

Title: Full Stack Software Developer Location: Remote Duration: 6 Months Contract Duties Remote Role but will require travel - Travel is around 5-15% in a year, amount of travel is project dependent Longer term contract role with potential to extend. May have an opportunity to convert depending on performance and business needs. We are looking for a skilled software engineer who can work with other teams on all levels of the organization to help develop tools with our Staples Vision Application. This consistes of an Android application with potentially some Web development. Skills Requirements Development Experience working with Android applications and supporting the team in being innovative with their problem-solving Database experience Focus on MySQL Knows Kotlin/Java MVVM ndroid Studio development - some UI creation experience true passion for what they do - Drive to learn Good soft skills: fast learner, using Initiative and being able to work independently and produce innovative solutions to ongoing problems. Needs to be able to work with teams and people from all levels of the company Needs to be able to work independently Experience with version control (git based) dapting to a fast pace environment Support other team members when more technical questions come up Potential travel 5-15% of the time Countrywide (travel/hotel) will be expensed Experience with JSON/GSON/ REST APIs Pluses Experience with Supply chain Django/Vue utomated Kubernetes zure Dev Ops Web-sockets Event driven architecture Component lifecycle Education May require a bachelor's degree in a related area and at least 5 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Has knowledge of standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.
