About the job Full-Stack Software Engineer - San Francisco, CA - $130K-$240K Location: San Francisco, CA (in-person, 5 days a week) Compensation: $130,000 - $240,000 per year, plus equity Join a profitable, fast-growing data infrastructure company for the construction industry as a Full-Stack Software Engineer, owning core backend systems end-to-end with no traditional manager layer. What You'll Own - Build and maintain a unified API layer connecting legacy industry systems, some 20-40 years old, to modern software - Ship core backend systems powering several interconnected automation products, with frontend work on apps that dogfood the API - Solve real-time data sync challenges, including custom implementations for systems that lack native webhooks - Build scalable testing frameworks to catch edge cases across thousands of endpoints - Engage directly with customers and ship features daily based on real feedback What You'll Bring - 1-5 years of backend or full-stack engineering experience - A CS degree from a strong engineering program - Familiarity with cloud infrastructure, AWS preferred - A self-motivated, high-ownership, low-ego operating style suited to a fast-paced, intense team environment - Genuine enthusiasm for working in person 5 days a week in San Francisco Nice to Have - Prior startup or founding engineering experience at any early stage - A CS background from a top 20-30 school - A competitive athletic or academic background - Multi-year tenure at a previous role This is a deeply technical, high-ownership engineering seat solving real infrastructure problems at scale, on a flat team with no traditional management layers between you and the work.
