The Orlando College of Osteopathic Medicine is seeking experienced biomedical (basic science) faculty candidates with a background in preclinical medical education to join our Medical College team. Candidates having earned a PhD in a biomedical science or DO/MD with preclinical education experience will be considered. We are particularly interested in candidates with significant full-time preclinical medical education experience to join our faculty team.

This is an in-person, full-time (5 day a week) position. Candidates with experience or the ability to demonstrate interest in integrating the biomedical sciences into an innovative case-based, clinically oriented, system-based preclinical curriculum will be considered. Knowledge and experience in Problem-Based, Case-based or Team-Based Learning are highly desirable.

Candidates must be willing and able to contribute beyond a single discipline. Faculty members are integral to the preclinical curriculum development and delivery.

All candidates are expected to become proficient facilitators and participate in the Case-Based Learning program, the cornerstone of our curriculum. Candidates will participate in Clinical Skills, OSCE, OMM labs and Simulation Courses, and Anatomy lab as appropriate.
