BA/Business Intelligence Analyst/developer

MUST HAVE: Development, Analysis, POWERBI, PYTHON, Operations, SNOWFLAKE , Excellent Communication Skills

we need a BA/Business Intelligence Analyst/developer mix type that can gather technical requirements and be the BA but can also be the BI developer and that has done/developed the actual reports, dashboards and visualizations using PowerBI.

- MUST HAVE AT LEAST 8 YEARS OF OVERALL PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE WORKING OUTSIDE OF IT DEPARTMENTS

- MUST HAVE BUSINESS ACUMEN BEYOND DATA ANALYTICS (PREVIOUS OPERATIONS EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED)

- MUST HAVE AT LEAST 3 YEARS OF HANDS-ON PYTHON EXPERIENCE

- MUST HAVE SOME EXPERIENCE WITH SNOWFLAKE

- LOOKING FOR CANDIDATES THAT HAVE PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE IN THE MANUFACTURING INDUSTRY, SUPPORTING LARGE MANUFACTURING FACILITIES

3 must haves for this role are:

1. wants someone with at least 8 yrs of professional experience in IT business and data analysis with different business acumen and industries (any sort of manufacturing industry or similar experience would help)

2. at least 2-3 + years of python automation, scripting experience. Python is required.

3. they need someone who is business savvy, who understands business purpose for the data they are working with, be able to interact and interface with all users (c- level, executives, different IT team members, VP of Data Analytics, etc.) they must be able to conduct the room and present well, a good story teller.

Job Duties :

SCHEDULE: FLEXIBLE START AND END TIMES - 7:00AM TO 4:00PM, 7:30AM TO 4:30PM, OR 8:00AM TO 5:00PM

THIS POSITION WILL BE 100% ON-SITE FOR THE FIRST 1-3 MONTHS, THEN A HYBRID SCHEDULE IS AVAILABLE, WORKING 3 DAYS IN THE OFFICE AND 2 DAYS REMOTE PER WEEK.

JOB ROLE: As a key member of the Operational Excellence Group, this position involves leveraging a strong background in analytics, consulting, and project management to drive process improvements and automation within the Aftermarket/Manufacturing domain.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS

- Minimum of 8 years of experience in a business process-related role, with a strong background in consulting, project management, and Python for data analysis and automation.

- Exceptional conceptual thinking skills, with a global mindset and expertise in Python for data analysis and process optimization

- Bachelor's degree in Business, Data Science, or a related field required; MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

- Strong proficiency in Python for data analysis, automation, and process optimization, with a solid proficiency in Microsoft Office suite particularly Excel. Proficiency with Excel formulas, pivot tables, and graphing

- Strong IS skillset in non-Microsoft applications, for data analysis, automation, and visualization

- Experience with different methods for dealing with large, multi-dimensional data sets, including relational databases, SQL, and ETL

- Highlight critical path activities that can affect project deadlines/deliverables

- Maintain a high degree of situation awareness, leveraging Python for data analysis and insight generation.

- Arrange remote meetings and work groups with business leaders and/or SMEs in a matrixed organization
