Job Title: Director - Med/Surg (RN)

Salary: $90,000 - $110,000
Relocation Package: Full relocation assistance available
The Director - Med/Surg (RN) is responsible for managing the overall operations of the Medical-Surgical (Med Surg) Units. This leadership role ensures high-quality patient care, supervises and mentors staff, develops and implements approved standards and guidelines, and collaborates with department managers to optimize unit performance.
Key Responsibilities-
Oversee daily operations of Med Surg Units, ensuring optimal patient care and efficiency.

Develop and enforce standards, protocols, and best practices for clinical excellence.

Provide leadership, direction, coaching, and mentorship to nursing staff.

Collaborate with management teams on policy implementation and process improvements.

Monitor and evaluate staff performance, ensuring compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards.

Manage budgets, staffing, and resource allocation to enhance patient outcomes.

Serve as a key liaison between nursing staff, administration, and other healthcare departments.

Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) Required

Master's Degree (Preferred)

Minimum 5 years of experience in a Med Surg setting (Required)

Minimum 3 years of management experience in Med Surg (Required)

Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills.

Ability to work under pressure and manage stressful situations effectively.

Experience leading nursing teams and implementing quality improvement initiatives.

Current and active NC RN license or Compact RN License (Required)

Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification (Required)

Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Certification (Required)
