Need penetration tester with vulnerability Exp

Job Overview:

As a Penetration Tester with vulnerability assessment experience, you will be responsible for identifying, analyzing, and reporting security vulnerabilities within our systems, applications, and networks. Your role will involve simulating attacks to assess the security posture of our infrastructure, providing detailed findings, and recommending remediation strategies to mitigate risks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive penetration tests on applications, networks, and systems to identify vulnerabilities and security weaknesses.
  • Perform vulnerability assessments using both automated tools and manual techniques.
  • Develop detailed reports outlining findings, including risk levels, exploitability, and potential impact.
  • Collaborate with development and IT teams to understand system architectures and security controls.
  • Provide recommendations and best practices to enhance security posture and mitigate identified risks.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest cybersecurity threats, vulnerabilities, and penetration testing techniques.
  • Participate in security audits, risk assessments, and compliance activities as needed.
  • Develop and maintain testing tools and methodologies to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of penetration testing activities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Proven experience in penetration testing and vulnerability assessment.
  • Proficiency with common penetration testing tools (e.g., Metasploit, Burp Suite, Nmap, Nessus).
  • Strong knowledge of networking protocols, operating systems (Windows, Linux), and web technologies.
  • Familiarity with common security frameworks and standards (e.g., OWASP, NIST, ISO 27001).
  • Experience with scripting and automation (e.g., Python, PowerShell) is a plus.
  • Relevant certifications such as CEH (Certified Ethical Hacker), OSCP (Offensive Security Certified Professional), or CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional) are preferred.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
