Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled, analytical, and results-driven Functional Controlling Professional to join our finance team at one of our organization’s largest and most dynamic manufacturing plants. The successful candidate will have a demonstrated track record in financial planning and analysis within a manufacturing environment, with specialized expertise in cost controlling, process optimization, and investment evaluation.

This key role is responsible for providing robust financial oversight across multiple product lines, developing, and implementing advanced analytical tools, and driving strategic initiatives that support operational excellence and business growth.


 

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensuring Financial Guidelines are followed within the production segment
  • Preparing financial data as well Outlook/Forecast information for the assigned production segments
  • Track action plans to improve plant performance
  • Support in the complete Budget Process in the Production Plant/Segment
  • Lead the financial management and control of core product lines, acting as the primary liaison between manufacturing operations and the finance team.
  • Oversee the monthly financial close process for assigned areas, including preparation and analysis of Profit & Loss statements, Balance Sheets, and management reporting packets.
  • Design, implement, and continuously improve automation tools to streamline financial closing activities and enhance reporting accuracy and timeliness.
  • Develop and maintain advanced analytics to monitor production cost centers, proactively identifying variances from budget and initiating corrective actions when required.
  • Accurately manage and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as Plant Cost Report (PCR).
  • Present clear, actionable insights and recommendations to Region & Business Unit Managers during monthly performance reviews to support data-driven decision-making.

 

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
  • Demonstrated success in automating and optimizing financial processes for enhanced efficiency and accuracy.
  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking abilities.
  • Ability to communicate complex financial concepts clearly and concisely to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a collaborative team approach.
  • High integrity, attention to detail, and unwavering commitment to accuracy.
Preferred:

  • Advanced proficiency with financial and ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar), and expert-level Excel skills; experience with reporting/visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)
  • 5 years’ progressive experience in financial analysis, plant controlling, or manufacturing finance, with proven expertise in standard costing, variance analysis, and inventory management.
