The Women's Rights Information Center is seeking an enthusiastic and innovative Fundraiser to join our dynamic team dedicated to advancing women's rights and promoting social justice. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing fundraising strategies that support our mission and sustain our programs. Your primary goal will be to cultivate relationships with donors, community partners, and sponsors, ensuring their continued engagement and support. As a Fundraiser, you will plan and execute fundraising campaigns, grant applications, and special events that resonate with our mission, leveraging your creativity to inspire action and generosity within our community. You will work collaboratively with the leadership team to identify funding opportunities and create compelling narratives that articulate our impact. This position is ideal for someone passionate about advocacy and skilled in relationship-building and communication. Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive fundraising strategies and campaigns.
  • Research and identify potential funding sources, including grants, foundations, and individual donors.
  • Build and maintain relationships with current and prospective donors and sponsors.
  • Create compelling fundraising materials, including proposals, presentations, and marketing content.
  • Plan and coordinate fundraising events, including logistics, promotions, and follow-up.
  • Monitor and report on fundraising progress, providing insights for improvement.
  • Collaborate with the marketing and outreach team to enhance community engagement and awareness.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in nonprofit management, communication, business, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in fundraising, development, or a similar role within a nonprofit organization.
  • Strong understanding of fundraising principles, practices, and donor engagement strategies.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft persuasive messages.
  • Proficient in using fundraising software and CRM systems to manage donor relations.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.
  • Demonstrated passion for women's rights and social justice initiatives.
