Summary: The Gate Supervisor is responsible for oversite of the attendants and ensuring excellent service is being provided to guests, agencies, and staff at assigned gatehouses or kiosks. The Gate Supervisor ensures the accurate and timely handling of cash and credit transactions at the gate/kiosk locations. This role will support check in of guest reservations and day-use visits, greet and support guests in a courteous and professional manner, and effectively communicate knowledge of Park Rules/Regulations, services and features to all guests. RESPONSIBILITIES Provides training and coaching to new and existing Gate Attendants Ensures friendly and courteous service is delivered and sets a good example for visitors and fellow employees. Provides oversight of cash register operations and credit and debit card transactions. Checks in guest reservations and day-use visitations. Answers phones and helps guests make reservations. Effectively communicates knowledge of Park Rules/Regulations, services and features to all guests. Maintains a clean and orderly gatehouse/kiosk. Assists with other related tasks as needed. REQUIREMENTS Must be at least 18 years of age (21 to drive) and have access to reliable transportation. One year of experience in a customer service or hospitality role. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong organizational and time management skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Available for duty during weekends, holidays, and peak visitation periods. Weekly work schedules will be worked out with local management. Strong customer service skills; enjoys working in an environment of extensive public contact. Possess a genuine concern for guests’ experience and enjoys frequent interaction with the public.
