As a GCP Application Security Architect, you will be part of the security department supporting a diverse range of teams. Job Title: GCP Application Security Architect Location: hybrid - 3 days onsite in Sunrise, FL; Atlanta, GA; Phoenix, AZ; Salt Lake City, UT; Silicon Valley - Palo Alto, CA; or New York City (Remote) Pay Range: 65-70 W2 Pay Rate What's the Job? Design and implement application security architecture for GCP-hosted services and applications. Ensure secure-by-design initiatives across the software development lifecycle (SDLC), including threat modeling and risk assessments. Collaborate with software engineers and cloud architects to align with security best practices. Define and promote secure coding standards and security-focused CI/CD pipelines. Monitor emerging GCP security features and provide recommendations for adoption. What's Needed? 7+ years in application security, software engineering, or security architecture roles. 3+ years of hands-on experience with GCP services, including IAM and Cloud Run. Deep understanding of secure development lifecycle (SSDLC) and cloud-native application patterns. Experience implementing security controls in CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins and GitHub.
