The Accountant provides timely and accurate record-keeping and reporting for R2R processes, processes the Accounting Department’s transactions, including recording transactions, preparing reports, fact-checking, filing, maintaining accounts, resolving discrepancies, and performing other duties as needed. THIS IS AN HOURLY POSITION LOCATED AT THEIR GRAYSLAKE, IL FACILITY Responsibilities Accounts Payable – Matches receivers to PO’s and invoices, enters accounts payable into system, processes e-Checks, ACH and wires, prepares monthly AP aging Accounts Receivable – Enters and applies cash receipts to accounts receivable, prepares monthly AR aging, makes collection calls, processes credits and billing adjustments Records financial transactions into database; ensures compliance with processes, procedures and policies Posts entries, verifying and reconciling input to financial reporting systems. Processes complex payments and assists in preparation of billings and other financial reports What Your Background Should Look Like Associate’s Degree or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or 2+ years related field preferred. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Advanced math skills. Detail-oriented. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook and Word. Familiar with an ERP system. Ability to work independently. Physical Requirements Position requires sitting for extended periods, bending, walking, talking, and arm and finger movement. Work Environment Work performed in an office environment. Compensation Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $56,100 ($29.98 an hr) – $84,200 ($40.48 an hr) (subject to change dependent on physical location) Posted salary ranges are made in good faith.
