Dedicated to excellence, PAL focuses on providing competitive service packages and ensuring safe, efficient operations for our customers.Role DescriptionWe are seeking a full-time General Accountant to join our team on-site at our Paducah, KY location. The General Accountant will be responsible for managing daily financial transactions, preparing financial statements, reconciling accounts, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations. Additional responsibilities include assisting with budgeting, auditing, and providing support during financial reporting processes.QualificationsStrong proficiency in Accounting principles, Financial Reporting, and General Ledger managementExperience with Account Reconciliation, Budgeting, and AuditingProficiency in using Accounting Software and Microsoft ExcelExcellent Analytical and Problem-Solving skillsStrong attention to detail and organizational abilitiesBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (required)Experience in the transportation or logistics industry is a bonus
