Summary
Our client — a Luxury Japanese Dining Group — is seeking a General Affairs / Office Operations Manager. This position serves as a manager who oversees the work of team members and provides guidance as needed. The role is responsible for identifying operational issues within the department, understanding departmental functions, and providing support to maximize efficiency. As a department manager, this position manages schedules, coordinates with other departments, and drives operational results with support from senior management to achieve corporate objectives. The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced business environment.
Essential Duties
Ensure clarity around departmental priorities, goals, and operational objectives.
Provide guidance and direction within the department and collaborate with other departments as needed.
Work cross-functionally with peers to support collaboration and achieve shared company goals.
Oversee and manage team members comprehensively, including workload coordination and performance support.
Contribute insights and recommendations to administrative planning and operational reviews.
Develop and implement process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and productivity.
Improve office and facility operations by identifying inefficiencies and implementing effective solutions.
Resolve administrative and operational issues in a timely and professional manner.
Conduct internal operational reviews and recommend system improvements.
Support organizational changes and operational initiatives as needed.
Interact with executives and relevant stakeholders regarding workplace and facility improvement initiatives.
Provide regular reports, updates, and consultation to direct supervisors.
Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
Working Hours
9:00 am - 6:00 pm

Cerritos, CA
One day per week remote work available; however, employees may be required to report to a designated work location depending on business and operational schedules.
Salary / Benefits
$80,000 - $81,000

Qualifications
Minimum of 3–5 years of Administrative Assistant, Executive Assistant, Office Management, or related experience.
Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
Bilingual in English and Japanese required.
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret business documents, professional journals, technical procedures, and governmental regulations in both English and Japanese.
Ability to prepare reports, business correspondence, and procedural documents.
Strong verbal communication and presentation skills with managers, clients, vendors, customers, and the general public.
