The General Helper supports the efficient and safe operation of the glass beverage bottling lines, specifically in the filling and labeling areas. Key responsibilities include assisting machine operators, conducting quality checks, supplying necessary materials, and maintaining cleanliness and organization throughout the work area.

This position is well-suited for individuals with strong attention to detail and a commitment to upholding high standards of safety, hygiene, and product quality.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist machine operators in the filling and labeling processes of glass beverage bottles.
  • Supply raw materials, empty bottles, labels, caps, and packaging materials to production lines as needed.
  • Remove full cases or finished products from production lines and stack them on pallets or designated storage areas.
  • Perform visual inspections to identify damaged or defective bottles, caps, or labels.
  • Assist with minor adjustments under the supervision of machine operators or supervisors.
  • Clean and sanitize work areas, machines, and equipment according to company cleaning procedures.
  • Follow all safety guidelines and use personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
  • Support other areas of production or packaging as required by the supervisor.
  • Participate in training sessions related to safety, hygiene, and production processes.

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum education: Basic education or equivalent (High School preferred).
  • Experience in industrial or manufacturing environments (preferred but not required).
  • Ability to work standing for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
  • Willingness to work in fast-paced environments and rotating shifts.
  • Basic understanding of safety, hygiene, and quality standards.
  • Teamwork and adaptability.
