Performs various tasks in the maintenance and repair of City streets, sidewalks, curb and gutter and storm drains; and performs related work as required .
   Newly hired incumbents will be given on-the-job training  to become eligible for promotion  to Street Maintenance Worker.

P erforms  journey-level  work in the construction, maintenance, repair, sweeping, and cleaning of City streets, curbs, gutters, storm drains, rights-of-way, and similar facilities; and performs related work as required .
 
  Additionally, newly hired incumbents will be provided  with on-the-job  training to obtain their Class A Driver’s license.
