ScopeThe General Manager - Operations is responsible for efficient management of the concerned Factory, with overall responsibility for optimum capacity utilization of the plant resulting in achievement of revenue and profitability targets. This includes managing the overall productivity, quality, profitability and people efficiency of the Factory. Maintaining harmonious and conducive work environment, industrial relations and adherence to Occupational Health & Safety, Social and Process compliance are key to the role holder. Furthermore, the job holder is responsible for execute the vested duties and responsibilities in relation to the Health & Safety guidelines, instructions and protocols of the Organization. ResponsibilitiesPlan, develop and implement business/operation strategy for the Plant in alignment to business unit’s strategy and goals Drive achievement of targets across functions and ensure products meet customer standards/specifications and OTD Oversee improvement initiatives/projects for the Plant, and ensure adherence of all activities to safety, quality standards Leverage relationships with internal and external stakeholders to efficiently manage business operations Lead and set direction for the team. QualificationsMasters / Bachelors’ Degree in Engineering/ Clothing Technology Over 12 years of relevant experience, should possess a minimum experience of 3 years in heading a Plant. The candidate must have hands-on experience in Uniqlo Knit operations as well as Uniqlo production processes.
