Job Description The General Manager is responsible for managing daily hotel operations and providing overall leadership in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. What will I be doing? As the General Manager, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards: Lead, direct and manage all hotel operations including budgeting, forecasting, strategic planning, service initiatives, balanced scorecard performance, compliance with company policies and standards, sales and marketing initiatives, executive team development, guest inquiries, concerns resolution, and hotel-wide meeting facilitation. Ensure guest and team member satisfaction. Monitor and develop team member performance, particularly the executive team and department heads, providing supervision, professional development, scheduling, counseling, evaluations, and recognition. Recruit, interview, and train team members. Oversee service quality, operational efficiency, guest satisfaction, standards compliance, service, and financial measurements. Identify operational performance, productivity, and efficiency gaps and implement corrective measures. Serve as primary liaison with hotel owners and corporate entities. Basic Qualifications 2+ years of hotel leadership experience at a property with 100 rooms or more. Preferred Qualifications Prior Hotel General Manager experience. Local market expertise.
