SWGP Brands is seeking a dynamic, experienced, and passionate General Manager responsible for overseeing restaurant operations, ensuring high-quality service, and creating an exceptional dining experience for our guests. This position requires a hands-on leader who can manage day-to-day restaurant functions, including staffing, training, budgeting, and customer service, while upholding brand standards and values.

This is a full-time, salaried position paying $75,000 to $90,000 per year plus performance incentives. 

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership and Team Management

  • Recruit, hire, train, and develop a high-performing team.
  • Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and high morale.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews, provide feedback, and set goals for team members.
  • Promote a culture of accountability and responsibility, ensuring team members adhere to restaurant policies and procedures.

Operations Management

  • Oversee all aspects of restaurant operations, including scheduling, inventory management, and vendor relations.
  • Ensure food quality and service standards are consistently met.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment that complies with health and safety regulations.
  • Coordinate with the kitchen team to manage menu execution and maintain stock levels.

Customer Service

  • Create a welcoming atmosphere and ensure an exceptional dining experience for guests.
  • Handle guest feedback, complaints, and inquiries professionally and proactively.
  • Monitor online reviews and feedback to make improvements where necessary.

Financial Management

  • Meet budgets and goals, including labor, food, and operational costs.
  • Analyze financial reports to make data-driven decisions to improve profitability.
  • Monitor daily revenue and expenses, implementing cost control measures as needed.

Marketing and Community Engagement

  • Develop local marketing strategies and community engagement initiatives.
  • Represent your store at community events to strengthen brand presence.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in restaurant management, with at least 1 year in a General Manager or Assistant General Manager role.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to manage budgets and control costs.
    • Knowledge of restaurant health and safety regulations.
    • Exceptional customer service skills.
    • Proficiency in restaurant management software is a plus.
  • Preferred Skills:
    • Knowledge of the local market.
    • Experience with steakhouse or casual dining restaurant management.
    • Familiarity with marketing and community engagement strategies.
