Role Description

We are seeking a General Manager for the Courtyard Fort Lauderdale Airport & Cruise, located in Dania Beach, FL. In this full-time on-site role, the General Manager will oversee all aspects of hotel operations to ensure optimal guest satisfaction, financial performance, and operational efficiency. Responsibilities include managing and developing staff, creating and executing budgets, overseeing daily operations, ensuring compliance with company and brand standards, and fostering a culture of excellence. The General Manager will collaborate with the corporate team to drive strategic initiatives and maintain high-performance metrics.

Qualifications

• Strong leadership and team management skills, including employee development and performance management
• Proven financial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, and results analysis
• Comprehensive knowledge of hotel operations and adherence to brand standards
• Ability to develop and implement strategies that enhance guest satisfaction and operational efficiency
• Exceptional communication, conflict resolution, and problem-solving abilities
• Experience with Courtyard Marriott brand standards is strongly preferred
• Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management, business, or a related field is encouraged
• Minimum of 5 years of hotel leadership experience, with at least 3 years in a General Manager capacity
