A growing commercial HVAC services organization is seeking a General Manager – Service to oversee and expand its service business in South Florida. This senior leadership role is responsible for the overall performance of the service division, including financial results, operational execution, customer relationships, team development, and safety.The General Manager will lead field operations and service support teams to ensure consistent service delivery, strong customer satisfaction, and efficient business performance. This role requires a leader who is comfortable balancing strategic oversight with hands-on operational involvement in a fast-paced service environment. ResponsibilitiesLead and develop a team of service technicians, field supervisors, dispatch, customer service, billing, and operational support staffFoster a culture of accountability, teamwork, safety, and customer service while maintaining a visible leadership presence with field teamsOversee daily service operations including scheduling, dispatch coordination, preventative maintenance programs, repairs, and project-related service workEnsure service delivery meets quality, safety, and customer expectations while resolving escalated service issues when neededMaintain full P&L responsibility for the service business, including revenue performance, labor utilization, backlog, materials costs, and service profitabilityReview service activity and operational data to ensure accurate billing, efficient service delivery, and overall operational performanceWork closely with finance on billing processes, financial reporting, and collections supportPartner with sales teams to identify opportunities to expand service agreements and additional repair or maintenance workBuild and maintain strong relationships with key customer accounts through regular communication and site visitsQualifications8+ years of experience in commercial HVAC service operations3–5+ years of leadership experience managing service teamsDemonstrated experience managing service operations with P&L accountabilityStrong leadership, organizational, and operational management skillsExperience working with service management software and Microsoft Office toolsValid driver’s license and ability to travel locally as neededIf you’re interested in a hands-on leadership role in a growing service organization, we’d like to hear from you.
