Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled General X-Ray Technologist for a 13-week contract assignment with a flexible start date. This day shift opportunity is ideal for a radiologic technologist who is experienced in performing high-quality diagnostic imaging while delivering exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform general diagnostic X-ray procedures in accordance with physician orders
- Position patients accurately to obtain high-quality images
- Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout imaging procedures
- Operate and maintain radiologic equipment
- Follow radiation safety standards and infection control protocols
- Accurately document imaging procedures and patient information
- Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare teams to ensure timely results
Qualifications
- ARRT (R) certification
- Active state Radiologic Technologist license
- Previous clinical or hospital X-ray experience preferred
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
