Job Description:
Augmentjobs is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Generalist Private Equity Analyst to join our growing private equity team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for analyzing investment opportunities, performing due diligence, and assisting in the structuring and execution of private equity transactions. You will work closely with senior team members to support the evaluation of potential deals, conduct financial modeling, and provide strategic insights to drive decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive financial analysis and due diligence for potential investments

Assist in the preparation of financial models to evaluate the return on investment

Analyze industry trends, market conditions, and financial statements

Support the team in preparing investment memorandums and presentations for internal and external stakeholders

Conduct market research and competitive analysis to assess the attractiveness of investment opportunities

Collaborate with senior team members on portfolio management, monitoring performance, and executing value creation strategies
Education and Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field

Professional certifications (CFA, CPA, or other relevant qualifications) are a plus
Required Experience:

2 to 5 years of experience in private equity, investment banking, or corporate finance

Strong understanding of financial modeling, valuation techniques, and investment analysis

Experience with financial due diligence and preparing investment memorandums

Proven ability to work with cross-functional teams and communicate effectively
