Job Summary Support the project management team by managing specific portions of the project including technical, construction, quality, cost and schedule. Supports development and management of specific portions of project budget and schedule. Coordinate plant commissioning process including safety, development of system turnover packages, system walkdowns, punch list management, coordination with operations and system documentation. Major complex projects including new generating facilities (coal, combined cycle and nuclear), environmental projects (cooling towers, wet or dry scrubbers, baghouse and SCR), nuclear modifications (reactor head or steam generator replacement) and other major complex projects exceeding $100M. Multiple complex projects including turbine uprates. Perform other duties as requested or assigned. Typically reports to Manager - F&H Projects or Project Manager. The role may have Non-Dominion Energy Workers (NDEWs) report to them. The knowledge, skills, abilities and experiences that are required for entry into this job include the following: -5-6+ years of experience managing projects, or managing multi-functional teams in a matrix environment. Detailed technical knowledge of large power plant systems and equipment and operations. Demonstrated knowledge and experience of major power plants and equipment including but not limited to boilers, turbines, generators, pumps, motors, control systems, electrical/instrumentation, and other balance-of-plant systems. Some station and engineering experience preferred. Must have good technical and cost management skills. Strong communication and integration skills are required. Ability to coordinate processes and provide leadership in a team environment. Ability to analyze information and made sound decisions. Demonstrated computers skills. Education Requirements Degree or an equivalent combination of education and demonstrated related experience may be accepted in lieu of preferred level of education: Bachelor Preferred Disciplines: Business, Engineering, Engineering Technology, Construction Management, Construction Engineering Other disciplines may be substituted for the preferred discipline(s) listed above.
