enior AI Engineer – AI Center of Excellence (AI CoE Lead)We are looking for a Senior AI Engineer to act as a technical lead within the AI Center of Excellence (AI CoE), responsible for building and evolving enterprise-grade AI and GenAI platforms, ensuring scalability, governance, security, and efficient adoption across the organization.This is a hybrid role, requiring easy access to the office in Barueri, São Paulo. The position is focused on software and platform engineering, not traditional infrastructure operations (SysAdmin/DevOps).ResponsibilitiesDesign, build, and evolve AI agent platforms, including runtime, skills registry, and corporate CLI.Develop a corporate LLM Gateway with usage controls, rate limiting, versioning, and governance.Implement structured logging, auditing, input/output filtering, and sensitive data protection.Define and track AI usage metrics, telemetry, and observability.Support the definition of the official model stack and AI usage tiers.Integrate solutions with Kubernetes and CI/CD pipelines at an architectural level.Act as a platform engineer, accelerating AI adoption at enterprise scale.Required SkillsStrong backend experience with Node.js or Python.Solid knowledge of API architecture, distributed systems, and multi-tenant platforms.Experience with OAuth, JWT, RBAC, observability, semantic versioning, and automated testing.AI‑native profile (mandatory), with daily use of tools such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or Codeium.Advanced technical English for global communication.Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams.Nice to HaveExperience with LLMs (OpenAI / Azure OpenAI), RAG, and SDK design.Hands-on experience deploying GenAI solutions to production, including cost control and governance.Knowledge of prompt injection risks and mitigation strategies.Expected ProfileSenior-level professional with strong ownership and autonomy.Strong prioritization and decision-making skills.Clear communication with both technical and business stakeholders.Comfortable working in complex, AI-driven environments.
