Above all else, we believe in doing the right thing for our people, our communities and our planet.The role of a Analyst, GIS is to support the Director, Market Development, along with the rest of the Restaurant Development Team, and to work closely with several of our restaurant brands, as it primarily relates to the maintenance, error corrections and regular updates of our spatial service delivery area boundaries (GIS), additional market planning and site selection support, and contribute to ad-hoc spatial analysis projects.What you will do in this role:Carry out the maintenance and perform regular updates to the service delivery area GIS files for one of our largest brands, using MapInfo Pro Server; liaise with the brand team - identify new boundary areas and realign existing limits, provide data/insights on the sales impact of delivery boundary realignments, and obtain demographic information on restaurants for analysis and make recommendations on action items that enhance the operations of the restaurant.Support the Real Estate Department in the primary research (e.g., identify major residential and commercial developments, major infrastructure projects, etc.) and data collection, relating to the creation of Site Approval Packages (SAP) that are presented at the monthly Real Estate Committee (REC) meeting.
