Internship Opportunity The Survey internship is an opportunity for students to be able to work during the Spring 2026 semester around class schedule and/or Summer 2026. Responsibilities Responsible for assisting the Crew Chief in the operation of a field survey crew. Major objectives are the quality (accuracy, thoroughness, meets regulatory requirements, public relations) of work, safety, and maintenance of equipment. Operate survey equipment, maintain a safe work environment, protect, and maintain the equipment and vehicles and accurately and efficiently collect field data and locate features. What you'll need Currently enrolled in a four-year surveying or engineering college program preferred, or two-year surveying associates degree. Must meet academic requirements set by the University to participate in an internship. Must have good technical skills. Must possess behavioral traits of process oriented, steady, helpful, analytical and a problem solver that likes working alone when required. Must be methodical, consistent, detail oriented and precise. Must have experience in previous jobs working outside on a regular basis preferably in extreme conditions. Must have a valid driver's license and an acceptable motor vehicle and criminal record and a negative drug test.
